The first half of the "Key to the City" tour begins in the heart of downtown Atlanta, where tourists get to explore the most popular attractions in Atlanta.

To select this half of the tour, you must only choose tours starting at 10am.

9:00AM Eat breakfast at your hotel.
10:00AM Hotel Pick Up.

Hop-off stop featuring four major Atlanta attractions:

Tour the World of Coca Cola Pavilion. Learn about the legend of the secret formula for Coca-Cola and see the vault where the formula is secured.

Tour Centennial Olympic Park, a 21 acre public park that was created to complement the Centennial 1996 Summer Olympics.

Tour the CNN Center, and get a close up look at global news in the making!

11:30AM Hop back on.

Learn interesting facts about nearby points of interest, such as the Westin Peachtree Plaza and AmericasMart.

11:50AM Hop-off at Atlantic Station, a popular live, work, and play community in Midtown featuring lunch and shopping.

This leg of the tour consists of narrative sightseeing, complete with interesting stories and facts about various landmarks and attractions, including the Fox Theater, Georgian Terrace Hotel, Shakespeare Tavern, Underground Atlanta, Georgia State Capitol, Turner Field, Dr. Rose Mansion, Crawford Long Hospital, Gladys Chicken and Waffles, Biltmore Hotel, Winecoff Hotel, Farlie Poplar District, Margaret Mitchell Square, Woodruff Park, Georgia Freight Depot, Georgia Archives Building, and more.
2:00PM Arrive at Tours of Atlanta Bus Station.

For participants on a half day tour, this marks the last stop of the day.

Participants on a full day tour will unwind and take pictures at the station prior to departing for the second half of the tour.

Part 2

The second half of the "Key to the City" tour takes visitors to the Grant Park area.

To select this half of the tour, you must only choose tours starting at 2:30pm.

2:30PM Departure from station.

While en route, learn fascinating and fun facts about several points of interest, including:

  • Historic Fourth Ward
  • Shot Gun Houses
  • Our Lady of Lourdes School
  • Potter's Field
  • Cotton Mill Factory
  • Cabbage Town
3:00PM Hop off stop featuring 3 attractions.

Tour Grant Park, which has free entry and an onsite restroom.

Tour the Atlanta Zoo, which houses over 1,500 animals representing more than 220 species.

Tour the Atlanta Cyclorama and Civil War Museum, a civil war museum located in Atlanta, its most noted attraction being the Atlanta Cyclorama, a cylindrical panoramic painting of the American Civil War Battle of Atlanta.

4:40PM Hop back on.

On the way to dinner, relax while our tour operator passes by more points of interest, including:

  • Historic Mansion of Lemuel Grant
  • St. Paul United Methodist Church
  • Historic Oakland Cemetary
4:50PM Hop off for dinner at Grant Park area restaurant. Grant Park refers to the oldest city park in Atlanta, as well as the Victorian neighborhood surrounding it. Your choices include but are not limited to:
